The Zulu artist that handcrafted this African picture has taken a piece of Masonite wooden board and burnt the front canvas so to give the artist a black surface to work with. The Zulu artist then engraves the lion and Zebra image onto the wood and removes the front layer of the burnt wood to reveal the clear light brown wood underneath.

This style of art has become unique to a small group of Zulu's. This beautiful African fish eagle in flight has just caught it's prey and s flying off over a lake with a fish between it's claws. The sketching to the highest of standards with fine details to every part of the Eagle
