Hand carved out of stone, this abstract art sculpture originates from the Zimbabwe region and shows a mother embracing her child. The stone used is soapstone and has been carved my a member of the Shona tribe.
The sculpture stands 6 inches tall and has become a common item found in modern houses. We have a large variety of African abstract carvings to view in our gallery but should you not find what you are looking for, e-mail us and we will see what we can do for you.
