African Traditional Clothing

Below we have a selection of African clothing worn by both male and female African’s during traditional ceremonies and every day life. African clothing does vary between cultures and countries but almost all African clothing has that earthy color and feel to them. With the modern world taken over and western style influencing the African populations, less and less young Africans are wearing traditional clothing daily and keep them only for traditional ceremonies.

The older African population still hold great value to their traditions and you will see mainly older African still wearing the traditional clothing of their tribe. We have a selection of clothing from Shirts and skirts through to traditional jewelry and head-wear.
