African stone embracing mother child

Size: 17 cm (H)

African soapstone sculpture at it's best. This soapstone abstract sculpture originates from Zimbabwe and show two Africans embracing each other. The African embracing carving is of a mother and her young child. The mother has flowing white hair and eyes shut while the young child is bald with eyes shut.

The soapstone carving is smooth polished and set in the natural color of the stone. This style of African stone art is known as Shona art as the Shona tribal people of Zimbabwe carve these very modern and desirable stone sculptures. We have a large variety of African abstract stone carvings in our African gallery.

All sizes listed are approximate. The stone abstract carving you purchase and receive may differ just slightly in size, look, and/or color from the stone abstract carving shown in the picture because each carving is handcrafted and hand painted by individual artists.

This is a true African Shona creation.

This African Abstract Soapstone couple weights 1kg and the shipping price is for airfreight from us in South Africa which takes 2-3 weeks to arrive.
