A small African cowhide drum that stands at 15 cm tall. The drum is made out of wood and tin and bound tightly with cowhide. These drums are often used as African toys for the Zulu tribes children. This small Zulu cowhide drum originates from a small town in South Africa called Ulundi and is where you will find the heart of the Zulu nation. Traditional Zulu drums have always been a part of the Zulu people and is used today in an expression of gratitude at weddings and funerals.

Each Zulu drum is an "original" work of art, individually hand carved, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the drum as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
