A handcrafted Zulu or Swazi drum crafted in either South Africa or Swaziland

A traditional African Zulu drum or Swaziland that has been hand carved out of wood and finished off with traditional African patterns. The drum has a leather skin head, this is either cowhide or goat skin,and stands on three legs. The traditional patterns are then engraved into the base of the wooden drum and then color is added to give this drum a true tribal drum feel.

We say this is either Zulu or Swaziland crafted as these drums are crafted by both ethnic groups in either South Africa or Swaziland. Swaziland is a landlocked country within South Africa and the traditions and style of artwork often overlaps these 2 ethnic groups.
