An African baton drum that is used by holding the shaft end of the drum and rolling the stick in your fingers. There are two loose pieces of wood attached to leather that proceed to bang the face of the drum and produce a high pitched sound. This type of wood drum is often used as a toy by traditional African people and can be found in allot of African houses who has a child.
Each Zulu drum is an "original" work of art, individually hand carved, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the drum as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
