An African ostrich egg that has had images of the big 5 animals of African decoupaged onto the ostrich egg. The Ostrich egg is set with earth tone colours with the big 5 on the front of the egg .

The effect on the egg is known as crackle as the egg when the decoupage is dried caused the surface of the decoupage image to have little fine lines that look like cracks in the the egg. This effect is purposely done.

Each ostrich egg is an "original" work of art, individually hand carved, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the ostrich egg as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
