African oval soasptone bowl A set of 2 African soapstone plates that have been hand carved out of African soapstone in an oval or leaf shape with a handle. The Soapstone plates originate from Zimbabwe and have been carved by traditional artist of the Shona tribe. Each plate is smooth polished and has an African animal carved into the stone with natural vegetation and African living in the background.

These Shona soapstone plates are colorful and are hand made in a variety of colors.
