Images of the African Bushman cover the cloth and there are traditional African patterns as a border on the outside of the tablecloth. The center of the African tablecloth Bushman paintings in a rectangle shape.

This Dyed table cloth is popular in many parts of Africa. In Mali and Nigeria it is used on strip woven cotton, while in Guinea and Senegal it is used on lighter industrial textiles. The African table cloth is tie-dyed into the fabric with African animals. The designs are decorative rather than symbolic.
